I am strongly drawn to the care and welfare of the aged and the growth and positive development of children. As a divorced mother who raised her child alone, I worked hard to help her achieve a college education, while holding on to a grounded belief in living a happy, peaceful, kind, and productive life.

I believe in the benefits of receiving a strong education. After moving to the United States, I earned my MBA and began a career in finance. I am currently a Vice President of Banking in Corporate and Small Business Lending.

I believe schools help empower children to become people with great personal and human values.

If elected as a member of Marin County Board of Education, I will primarily engage in learning the needs of the students and what the current Board has done and plans to do to address and find solutions to these needs. Similar to the other members of the Board, my focus will be on the students. I will work towards giving your children the education they deserve.  I know that no one member can institute a change, but I will certainly bring my ideas to meetings for discussions and decisions on actions to take. What those ideas are will spring from the topic on hand.
